Original WW1 Liberty Bonds Poster Beat Back the Hun - 1917 World War 1 Propaganda Poster, US History, Military Memorabilia, Gifts for Him, America Army Navy, WWI Battles
Dimension: Size: 20” x 30”
Condition: The poster is sadly in Poor condition. It has severe edge damage and edge fraying. There is a hole in the C and a 10 inch tear across the middle of the page.
Description: Printed during WWI, this original authentic propaganda poster features some of the most iconic imagery of WWI. A common term for German soldiers was “Hun” and it is used in full force here, a menacing angry German soldier with bloodied bayonet looms over the ruins of Europe, his eyes towards America. Liberty Loans were bonds that the government sold so they could keep up with the expenses of war but were guaranteed to be repaid with interest at the end of the war. An original piece that I was thrilled to get my hands on.
